I am Rohitha Kahatapitiya, an experienced educator with a strong academic and professional background in Management, Accounting, and Economics.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Management (Special) degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. In addition, I completed the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, further strengthening my expertise in accounting and finance. To complement this knowledge, I also followed a specialized course in Standardization and Quality Management at the Sri Lanka Standards Institution, gaining practical exposure to quality systems and organizational excellence.
My professional journey includes serving as a manager in several reputed private sector organizations, where I gained valuable real-world business experience. Alongside this, I have also contributed to professional education as a lecturer at the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT), guiding students in developing strong conceptual and practical understanding.
I am also the author of several Economics publications, reflecting my deep interest and expertise in the subject. My teaching approach combines theoretical clarity with practical application, helping students understand complex concepts in a simple and effective manner.
With over 21 years of experience in conducting tuition classes in Nugegoda and various other areas, I have successfully guided thousands of students. Many of them have achieved outstanding results at district and national levels, a testament to my commitment, teaching methodology, and dedication to student success.
My goal is to inspire students, build strong academic foundations, and help them achieve excellence with confidence and discipline.
